About Don Bacon:

Raised on a farm in Illinois, Congressman Don Bacon worked his way through school and married his college sweetheart, Angie, in 1984.  He joined the United States Air Force in 1985 and served our nation for nearly 30 years, retiring as a Brigadier General.  When choosing where to retire, they decided on Sarpy County because it was the only place that really felt like home.  He knew he had more to offer his country, so he ran for Congress in Nebraska’s Second District.  In 2016 he was the only Republican to defeat an incumbent congressional Democrat in America, and he became the first federally elected official from Sarpy County.  We are proud to have Don Bacon represent NE02, which includes the majority of Sarpy County.

Thank you, Don!
